Explanation: Colours incorrectly defined as overprint are a common error in documents, as the resulting mix of foreground and background colours often does not appear on screen or on many colour printers and proofing devices. This can lead to unpleasant surprises at the time of printing.

Unfortunately, we cannot process the artwork files you sent us because your fonts are damaged.Damage to the font can be due to several reasons.

Please ensure that you have all the necessary licences for the fonts you are using. Unfortunately, this rarely applies to free fonts, for example.

Incomplete embedding of the characters can also be a reason. Please check if your PDF contains all the necessary characters.

You also have the option of converting the texts into paths or sending us a JPEG or TIFF (please ensure the correct resolution!).

Bleed missing

To enable borderless printing, we require a bleed in your artwork files. This is a coloured area around the printed image where the cutting takes place. Without bleed, white lines may appear in the edge area during cutting, so-called flashes.

The bleed should always be filled with the background area or background of the print image.

Please also note the required safety margin in the print image to avoid important design elements or texts from being cut.
