On March 3rd, the Racing Team Prüstel GP hosted an official team presentation. At a press conference at the SAXOPRINT headquarters in Dresden, the new team was presented to journalists from TV, print and radio. The journalists had the opportunity to get to know the new team and see the new design of the Peugeot motorcycles. In addition to the riders Jakub Kornfeil (23) and Patrik Pulkkinen (15), the team owner Ingo Prüstel, managing director Florian Prüstel, and team manager Terrell Thien were in attendance and answered questions. Additionally, Prüstel GP introduced another young rider. The 12 year old Freddie Heinrich will be supporting the motorcycle house in the Moto4 category for the Spanish championship.
The “Peugeot Motocycles SAXOPRINT” team has a new line-up this year. 23 year old Jakub Kornfeil from the Czech Republic and 15 year old Finnish native Patrik Pulkkinen will be making up the 2017 World Championship team.
Florian Prüstel, the Managing Director for the team has high hopes for the young riders.
“We looked for experienced riders that could deliver consistent top-ten results. We found that with Jakub. He is not only a reliable rider, but he also has a lot of experience and has the potential to place on the podium.”

Since 2010, the 23 year old has been racing in the smallest class of the Moto3™ World Championship. There, he has already achieved over 100 GP starts. One of his top achievements is placing 8th in the World Championship on a Honda belonging to the Drive M7 SIC team.
“He ended 2016 with a top ten finish. If we can do that in 2017 with Peugeot, we will be excited.”

Jakub’s new teammate, Patrik Pulkkinen, brings a lot to the team too. According to the racer, his favourite route is “every fast one”. Fans can expect a lot of energy and talent from this young rider.
