Our “Featured” series is back! Yay! Today we cross the british borders and introduce to you a 24 year old Italian Graphic Design & Art Direction student: Loris F. Alessandria. Read more about this talented guy and have a look at his great artwork.
During the day he studies at NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts) and during the night he is a freelance grahic designer & illustrator and is currently working for agencies and clients from all over the world. And… he loves PIZZA.
Claudia: At what stage of your creative life are you at the moment and what are your goals for the future?
Loris: At the moment I can say that I’m just beginning. I started all less then 2 years ago, I think there a lot of people that I wanna know, works that I wanna do and things that I wanna learn.
For the future my goals are, after my studies, to find a strong agency where growing up and then, maybe, to open with some friends a ‘graphic design factory’. One of my dreams is to illustrate a book for children.
Claudia: How would you describe your style and what inspires you?
Loris:I try to be more minimalist that I can, I give very much importance to the details and I use flat color palette. I’m everyday inspired by a lot of interesting people around the magic world of Behance and Dribbble, and their works. I’m also inspired by everything I find in my way, specially by nature.
Claudia: What is your identifying feature? Loris:Uhm, let me think.. My feature is that I never use black color in 100% :)
Claudia: What is your philosophy in life or favourite quote?
Loris:Really don’t know, I just wanna live in my world where unicorns and colored animals can play together everyday!
Claudia: Any closing words of wisdom you wanna share with the world?
‘Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony’ – Mahatma Gandhi
