Welcome to another article of our series about design tips and how they can improve the relationship between you and your customers. In our series, we have already introduced you to products like flyers, calendars, letterheads, books with a hardcover and many more. Today, I’m going to talk about one of the most important business stationery items – stamps. Every company that wants to leave a good impression on all sorts of documents needs stamps with their company logo and contact information. If you run a business and still don’t have stamps or you can’t decide which stamp to choose, this article is for you.
There are several different types of stamps like date stamps, wooden stamps, green line stamps, round stamps, self-inking stamps, etc. They can also be categorised by their size but I’m going to talk about size later. Let’s start with some tips on how to choose the right stamp for you.
Choosing the right type of stamp is important. If your company is selling vintage clothes or goods, or the interior of your office is old school, classic wooden stamps go perfect with your vintage products and your office design. They are a nice accessory and they show that you care about design and style. If you just need a huge self-inking and hard-working stamp, the best choice is our regular date stamp. It will certainly become the best friend of your company’s accountants. Choosing a green line stamp underlines your green attitude and awareness for responsible resource usage. All of them a nature-friendly because they are produced from at least 75% recycled plastic.
There are round stamps, square stamps and rectangle stamps. Less common are triangle stemps. When you choose the right stamp shape make sure that it is suited to represent and display both your company logo and further information nicely. Apart from that, it is up to your preferences.
If you want to find out which stamp size is the best for you, just answer a few questions. Are you going to take it with you a lot? If the answer is YES, take one of the small, light and stylish “printy” stamps. It will fit into your pocket. If the stamp is going to stay on your table forever just choose from regular stamps. Are you using stamps a lot? If the answer is YES, get a professional stamp. It’s more enhanced, comfortable to hold and durable. As always, you can ask SAXOPRINT’s professional service team for advice.
The last thing you need to choose is casing and ink pad colour. But it’s easy. Usually, our customers get black casing and ink pad and that’s it. But some of our stamps, like small “printy” stamps, have several options. White, grey, blue, red or black – if one of these colours goes better with your brand or meets your specific needs, go for it. If not, black is a good pick. Ink pad or text place colour is not that important because you can change them wherever you want. But still, if you are going to use black ink, take black ink pad.
I hope my tips could help and now you find it easier to choose the right company stamp. If you have suggestions or questions please contact us email@example.com.
