“Great challenges require a lot of creativity” – this applies to a high-end design competition, which is coming to our neighbours in France in the next few months. In collaboration with WWF France, SAXOPRINT is hosting the first edition of “Creative Awards by SAXOPRINT”. The aim is to design the next WWF campaign with the topic of “global warming”, and in order to achieve this they obviously require the dedication and passion of participants who are bursting with ideas. Anyone who has a creative streak and lives in the country of gourmet and fine arts can participate in the competition and take advantage of their chance to win prizes with a total value of over EUR 16,000.
Be creative together and earn fame as well as fantastic prizes!
A great idea has been born, and I therefore feel obliged to tell you, on the German SAXOPRINT blog, about our French colleagues’ design competition. Because this is for a good cause and there is a range of great prizes, I would like to ask you to tell your friends, colleagues and partners about “Creative Awards by SAXOPRINT”.
In co-operation with the environmental protection organisation WWF France, we are calling France’s creative industry to get involved in the fight against climate change by designing their own advertising campaign. In the WWF campaign, the focus should be on the young target group aged between 18 and 25, in order to raise long-term awareness of climate change amongst this group. Designers, graphic artists, advertising agencies, students and passionate artists of all genres should feel addressed, and send their contributions by January 15th 2015 via the Creative Awards website to the high-profile judging panel.
The head judge is none other than the renowned photographer and film-maker Yann Arthus-Bertrand. He has the best possible company on the panel, as experts from the fields of environmental protection, graphics, publishing, photography, media and printing complete the judging panel for the first “Creative Awards by SAXOPRINT”. They will select the best ideas and duly introduce all participants in three separate categories. So, we can get excited about the winner of the “Grand Prix”, as well as the winners of the “Public Choice Award” and the “Young Creative Awards”.
In order to make participating in the competition worthwhile for design specialists in France, they can of course expect honour and fame, as well as valuable monetary and material prizes, such as digital cameras and tablets. SAXOPRINT vouchers are also available for the participants, and a whopping prize of EUR 7,000 is destined for the “Creative Awards by SAXOPRINT” winner!
Another reason to participate is the expected media attention, especially by the winner. The winning campaign of the competition will be used by WWF France in their advance communication for the UNO Climate Conference in Paris in 2015 and the artist’s creation will thus be circulated throughout the whole country. The event’s media partners will also contribute to an extensive promotion of the winner via web and print media.
