Claudia: When having a look at your web page I can tell that your working in a lot of different areas. Please tell us a bit more about your work and your portfolio.
Andrea: Yes I like to work in different fields with different styles and techniques, trying to mix to create always something new.
Usually all starts with a pencil sketch ( very important part to focus on the project), but this is no always possible, then once the idea is ready I start with the proper software.
In my portfolio I displayed the works more relevant to me, that better express me and how I work. Unfortunately beeing often busy, I don’t have the possibility to update it frequently.
Claudia: What would you consider being the favourite field you work in? What style or technique do you prefer?
Andrea: I like to work on branding and logo design projects but above all every project where I can express myself at 100%, but sometimes you have to follow certain guidelines.
I like vintage style where the combination between fonts and colors is very important.
Claudia: Such a creative person as you are needs a lot of inspiration, right? Where do you get it from? What inspires you?
Andrea: I always been inspired by what surrounds me, I have the fortune to travel a lot and I lived abroad. Know new places, people and urban cultures that inspired me and still continue.
I have to say that inspiration could also arrive also doing the simply things of all days. But the research phase is important as well.
Claudia: With all those influences and the variety of your work do you have an identifying feature that can be found in all your artworks?
Andrea: I always try to be clear, and use the right combination between fonts and colors.
Claudia: What is your philosophy in life or favourite quote?
Andrea:
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but seeing with new eyes.
—Marcel Proust
Claudia: Any closing words of wisdom you wanna share with the world?
