You might have read our post this week about how we’re sponsoring the prestigious London Design Festival. If you did, then you’ll know how delighted we are to be a part of such an amazing event – and you’ll also know that the London Design Festival actually grew up around a series of trade events happening in London in September: one of these is 100% Design, which takes place from 17th to 20th September at Earls Court.
So while the London Design Festival is entering its twelfth year in 2014, the 100% Design show is already celebrating its 20th edition. That makes it the UK’s longest running contemporary design event, and its list of prominent supporters is long and impressive, encompassing names like Naomi Cleaver, Paul Cocksedge, and Amos Marchant – many of them will be on hand to celebrate the big 2-0 with a range of talks and events. There’ll also be a range of special 20-years features, including the exciting Design Kaleidoscope Exhibition, which shows off this year’s theme visual in all its glory.
The traditional show element of 100% Design also promises to be a genuinely impressive, featuring everything from established names organised into sections like Interiors, Workplace, and Kitchens & Bathrooms, as well as dedicated areas for Emerging Brands and Ones to Watch. Even at the ripe old age of 20, the show has lost none of its readiness to experiment.
Which is good, because this year will see another first at 100 percent Design London: a print sponsor. And – if you haven’t guessed it already – that print sponsor is us!
And, honoured as we are, we’ll be doing more than just hanging up adverts at the show: no, we’re a real partner for 100% Design and will be taking care of printed material for the event. If you fancy stopping by and getting an idea of the full range of printing techniques and ideas we offer, we’ll also be there in person with our exciting postcard gallery in the Media Lounge.
We’re really looking forward to what promises to be an exciting and busy 100% Design – and are also looking forward to getting to know some of our other sponsors, which include Peroni, Campari, and a champagne brand by the name of Jacquart. I wonder if they’ll trade us the odd complimentary glass of bubbly in return for some of our UV coated special print postcards…?
